Wharfedale Dimond 12.4 的單體均採用精密製作、帶有鋁補償環的磁鐵系統，能夠最大限度地減少了音圈工作時電感變化的影響，
有助於消除「電磁系統」產生的互調失真。而音圈纏繞在環氧樹脂/玻璃纖維線軸上，在這個價位的喇叭中非常罕見。
它的優點是不增加渦流，能夠提供比傳統鋁筒管更大的功率承受能力。
分音器方面， Diamond 12採用24dB LKR分音技術，分音板使用了空心電感，將失真降至最小，
並且採用了精心挑選的高級零件，確保最佳的信號分配。
